Who we are
Talent is more than a résumé. A company is more than a job description.
SaMquest Solutions connects skilled professionals with organizations that need them — as a partner to both, not a broker between them.
Leadership Recruiter
Jyotsana
Leadership Recruiter
Jyotsana is a Leadership Recruiter with more than fifteen years hiring into technology and regulated industries — on both sides of the desk. She has run agency search, where the pressure is to fill fast, and worked in-house at Amazon, Microsoft and Meta, where the pressure is to fill right and live with the consequences.
That second half is what shapes how SaMquest works. Inside those companies she saw which agency submissions were worth reading and which were volume, which hires held up at eighteen months, and how much of a search is really about persuading a strong candidate that a team is worth joining.
Her focus is leadership and hard-to-fill roles across information technology, life sciences, and banking and finance — the searches where the shortlist has to be built rather than collected. She is a certified Professional Scrum Master, a Tableau Desktop Qualified Associate, and HIPAA certified, with formal training in technical and diversity recruiting.
Where we specialise
Three markets — and the overlap between them
Markets that used to be separate and are not any more. The clinical programme needs the validated computing environment; the trading desk and the data platform need someone who understands the controls around them. Recruiting across all three is the point, not a coincidence.

Life sciences
Biopharma, medical device, and the CROs and consultancies around them — clinical, scientific, and regulatory roles where a mis-hire costs a study timeline.
- Clinical research associates & site monitoring
- Biostatistics & statistical programming (SAS, CDISC)
- Clinical data management
- Pharmacovigilance & medical safety review
- Regulatory affairs & medical writing
- HEOR, real-world evidence, and epidemiology
- Bench science — analytical development, R&D, lab operations
- Clinical project & program management

Banking and finance
Banks, asset managers, insurers and the fintechs pressing on them — the roles where a regulator, an auditor or a trading desk is downstream of the hire.
- Risk, credit and quantitative analysis
- Regulatory reporting and compliance
- Financial and FP&A analysis
- Core banking and payments engineering
- Data engineering for finance platforms
- Treasury and capital markets operations
- Audit, controls and SOX
- Product and programme management

Information technology
Engineering and data roles, including the validated and regulated environments most technology recruiters have never worked in.
- Software engineering — backend, frontend, full stack
- Data engineering & analytics platforms
- Cloud, DevOps, and platform engineering
- AI/ML engineering and applied data science
- QA, test automation, and computer-system validation
- Business analysis & technical product management
- IT infrastructure, security, and support leadership
- Technical project & delivery management
Certifications
Certified diverse supplier
SaMquest holds federal and state supplier-diversity certifications. If your programme carries diverse-spend targets, hours billed through us count toward them.
- MBEMinority Business Enterprise

Our mission
We build careers,
not requisitions
Filling a job is the easy part. Anyone with a database can forward a résumé that matches on keywords. What is hard — and what actually determines whether a hire works — is understanding the person, the team they are joining, and the gap between what a job description says and what the job is.
That is the work we do. For professionals, it means guidance toward opportunities that fit your strengths, your values, and where you want to be in five years. For employers, it means people who are committed to what you are building — not the first three profiles that cleared a keyword filter.
Vision, skill, expertise, and the ability to work well with others are what make strong teams. Our job is to find all four in the same person, and to be honest with everyone about what we find.
Our impact
We measure success after the start date, not before it
A placement count is a vanity metric. The questions worth asking are whether the person is still there a year later, whether they were promoted, and whether the hiring manager would run their next search with us. Those are the numbers we watch.
- Retention over volume. We would rather run four searches properly than fourteen badly.
- Repeat relationships. The best sign we did the job is the next role coming back to us.
- Candidates who progress. A good placement should be a step up, not a sideways move with a raise.
How we operate
Four things we do not compromise on
01
People before placements
A filled seat that empties again in six months helped nobody. We optimise for the hire that lasts, even when a faster one was available.
02
Say the hard thing early
If the compensation is off, the requirement list is unrealistic, or a candidate is not right, you hear it at the start of the search rather than at the end of it.
03
Small on purpose
We take on the number of searches we can run properly. Growth that costs us that is not growth we want.
04
Both sides are the client
A candidate we place is someone we will work with again for twenty years. They get the same honesty the hiring company does.
Where we are
Monroe, Connecticut — working with clients across the United States
We are based in Fairfield County and run searches nationally, on site, hybrid, and remote. Being small and local means the person you call is the person doing the work — and you can get them on the phone.
Next step
Work with people who will tell you the truth.
Whether you are hiring or looking, start with a conversation. No pipeline, no pitch deck.
