• Information from public professional sources — where we source candidates, we may record publicly available professional details (for example a public professional profile) before contacting you.
• Basic technical information — our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address and browser type, to keep the site available and secure.

What we do with it

• Match candidates to open roles and, with your permission, present you to a hiring company.
• Communicate with you about a role, an application, or an enquiry you sent us.
• Provide our services to client companies, including reference checks you have authorized.
• Meet our legal, tax, and employment obligations, particularly for contract placements where we act as the employer.

We never send your résumé or your details to a company without your explicit agreement in advance, and we tell you which company and which role before we ask.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.
• We do not share your details with other recruiting firms or data brokers.
• We do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this website, and we do not set marketing cookies.

Cookies

This site does not use analytics, advertising, or profiling cookies. If a spam-protection check is enabled on our contact form, the provider may set a strictly necessary token for the duration of that check. No cookie on this site is used to track you across other websites.

Who we share information with

Client companies, only with your consent and only for a role you have agreed to be presented for. Service providers who help us operate — email delivery, website hosting, and document storage — under agreements that limit them to processing on our instructions. Public authorities where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep candidate records for as long as it is useful for placing you, and we review them periodically. Records connected to a completed placement are kept for the period required by employment, tax, and contractual obligations. You can ask us to delete your record at any time and we will, unless we are legally required to keep part of it.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
• Delete your record.
• Stop contacting you.
• Send you a copy of what you gave us.

Email info@samquests.com and we will act on it. Residents of states with specific privacy laws — including Connecticut and California — have these rights by statute, and we will not treat you differently for exercising them.

Security

We limit access to candidate information to the people who need it to do the work, use reputable hosted services with encryption in transit, and do not retain documents we no longer need. No system is perfect; if a breach ever affects your information we will tell you promptly and directly.

Children

This site and our services are intended for adults in the workforce. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes affecting how we use information you have already given us will be communicated directly.
